THE WORD AND LIGHT by the late Mícheál Fanning is a marvellous collection by the renowned Kerry poet/doctor. The book is a translation of Briathar agus Solas, published by Coisceím. The poems highlight West Kerry archaeological sites and contemporary people and finally recount the poet’s spiritual journey. The book contains photographs by Fiona Morgan, who has spent several years photographing West Kerry.
